Baby Time!

While I wait on my baby boy to be born I get to take pics of some precious baby boys!  I am so blessed to have been at two of my friend's births recently, here's one!

Baby McLawhon Number TWO

Like I said in my previous post I love repeats!  This repeat was a little different than the others I have experienced.  I was privileged to be Megan's doula at the birth of her sweet daughter, Maggie, almost two years ago, and I was there for baby number two, Mr. Ari Joel!  Megan and Ryan are great friends of ours, so this was a little extra special for me.  They are my first repeat doula clients!  I can't wait to photograph Ari as he grows, so don't worry, you will see LOTS of him in the months to come:)

These melt my heart!  Congratulations McLawhon family!  Ari is perfect:)

Babies, babies, babies

I guess May is the busy season:)  Here's baby J, a precious baby boy...

This is just moments after he was born, as you can tell he's ready to see his mommy:)

There is something quite indescribable about being with a mom after the birth of her child (especially the first).  There is nothing that can prepare you for the joy you feel as soon as you have your baby in your arms.  I am quite fortunate to have seen this many times now.  It always reminds me of the first time I held both of my kids.  I consider it an honor when I am there, just look at her glow!  Welcome to mommyhood:)
